The Agroserve factory at Warminster

The Agroserve factory at Warminster

Located in Bishopstrow on the outskirts of Warminster, Agroserve was formed in 1971 to manufacture and supply high quality cleaning and sanitation products for use in the dairy farming industry. The range includes products for the cleaning and sanitisation of milking equipment, teat and udder hygiene, and milk filtering. The Wylye Works named after the adjacent River Wylye is located in a designated Special Area of Conservation.

The production facility operates in accordance with Quality Assurance Systems ISO 9001:2000 and maintains an Environmental Management System to BS EN ISO 14001. Our products are manufactured in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and the company has obtained a Manufacturing Authorisation from the Veterinary Medicines Directorate.

In October 2004 the company was acquired by GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, one of the largest suppliers for the food processing industry and a wide range of other process industries. As an international technology group, the Company focusses on process technology and components for sophisticated production systems.

In 2014, GEA generated consolidated revenues in excess of approximately EUR 4.5 billion, more than 70 percent of which came from the food sector, which is a long-term growth industry.
